PHOSPHATE ROCK
Phosphate rock is a sedimentary rock composed of crystalline and amorphous calcium phosphate with a mixture of quartz, clay particles and
other minerals. Phosphate rock is characterized by high porosity of the particles and the fine-grained structure.
Phosphate rock is an important mineral resource, which is extracted as raw material for the production of fertilizers like NP, NPK, MAP, DAP. Phosphate rock serves a material to produce by fine grinding the environmentally friendly phosphate fertilizer for agricultural purposes. When added to the ground in high doses, it provides the plant with phosphorus for several years.
